Snake River in Wyoming. An underwater housing containing the camera was mounted on the nose of the kayak to capture this image. Kayaker Mark White triggered the camera with a button taped to his paddle as he surfed the waves here along the Snake River in Wyoming. The Snake River begins on the Yellowstone Plateau 100 miles to the north and drains into the Columbia 650 miles below this location after plunging through Hells Canyon on the border of Oregon and Idaho.
