Glacier National Park, British Columbia, Canada    ID# CN-GP-0006

Viewed from Abbott Ridge, the 10,818-foot pyramid-shaped summit of Mount Sir Donald dominates the skyline in Glacier National Park in the Columbia Mountains of Canada. Located in the Selkirk Mountains west of Yoho National Park, the ice-clad peaks of Glacier National Park provide some of the most challenging high-alpine climbing routes in North America. The fabled Rogers Pass highway cuts through the Selkirk Mountains just below these peaks as part of the Trans-Canada Highway.
