Glacier National Park, Montana. Angel Wing and 9,553-foot Mount Gould tower above Grinnell Lake in the Many Glacier region of Glacier National Park viewed here from along the Grinnell Lake Trail. This trail eventually leads to the foot of Grinnell Glacier. This glacier and many others within the park are quickly melting and most are expected to disappear within the next twenty years. This trail eventually ends at the foot of the Grinnell Glacier, tucked up under the shadow of the Continental Divide and a mere shadow of its former self when first photographed a century ago.
