Glacier National Park, Montana. Angel Wing and 9,553-foot Mount Gould tower above Grinnell Lake in the Many Glacier region of Glacier National Park viewed here from the Grinnell Lake Trail. This region of Glacier Park provides excellent habitat for a remnant population of Grizzly bears. The glaciers after which this park takes it names are quickly melting and most are expected to disappear within the next twenty years. This trail eventually ends at the foot of the Grinnell Glacier, tucked up under the shadow of the Continental Divide and a mere shadow of its former self when first photographed a century ago.
