Fall Creek Falls drops into the Snake River along the Swan Valley in eastern Idaho. The Snake River originates high on the Yellowstone Plateau to the northeast of this location and flows south through Grand Teton National Park and Snake River Canyon before flowing into Palisades Reservoir just upstream from this location. Travertine ledges have been created across the face of this waterfall as dissolved minerals in the water drop out of solution. This photograph was captured on 6x7 format film. All photos in these galleries may be ordered as fine art black & white framed prints or for stock photography usage.
