| Waterfall, Mount Timpanogos, Utah. The porous limestone rock of Mount Timpanogos in the Wasatch Mountains of northern Utah gobbles up most of the surface water flowing off this beautiful mountain. With a good supply of melting snow at its 11,500' headwaters in Cascade Cirque, a series of waterfalls known as Stewart Cascades tumble over limestone ledges on their way to the North Fork of the Provo River.
