| Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. A brilliant sunset illuminates a fleet of drifting clouds as they reflect in the mirror-calm waters of Oxbow Bend along the Snake River in Grand Teton National Park. At the center of the image, the remnant Skillet Glacier clings to the steep west face of 12,605' Mount Moran in the Teton Range. With its headwaters on the Yellowstone Plateau to the north, the Snake River pauses here in this nearly-abandoned meander before it continues its long journey to its confluence with the Columbia and finally to the Pacific Ocean west of Portland, Oregon.
