Located below the rim of the Mogollon Plateau at the southern edge of the vast Colorado Plateau, the small stream of Oak Creek has carved one of the most beautiful canyons anywhere in the West. While the surrounding area of Sedona has witnessed tremendous growth over the last 15 years due to this spectacular setting, here along Oak Creek, not much has changed since the bottomlands along this perennial stream were homesteaded in the mid-19th Century.
