Antelope Canyon, Arizona. I made this panorama photograph by tilting my camera straight up from the black depths of Antelope Canyon in the Navajo Nation of Arizona. Eons of flowing water have sculpted the sandstone in this canyon to resemble the surface of a storm-tossed sea. With our limited grasp of deep time, it is difficult for us to even grasp the tiny amount of geologic time required to cut this canyon no less the 190 million years which have elapsed since this sandstone was deposited. All photos in these galleries may be ordered as fine art framed prints or for stock photography usage.
