With its combination of rugged snowcapped peaks and vast aspen groves, the San Juan Mountains near Telluride present a breathtaking show of autumn color. This grove, located along near Dallas Divide carpets the slopes beneath the Sneffels Range at the northern edge of the San Juans. This vertical photograph was captured with a 6x7 format camera.
